About EEB Therapy
Hi!
I’m Dr. Erin Bernstein

As a mom and psychologist, I’ve seen firsthand how challenging it can be to juggle the emotions of your children, maintain concentration in today's world, and manage everyday stress. I guide teens, parents, and women toward strategies that help them feel steadier, more confident, and more connected to themselves and their families.
I understand what it feels like when life feels overwhelming, whether it’s a with struggling to focus, a parent wondering if they’re doing enough, or a woman trying to quiet her own constant worry.
I’ve spent my career working with kids, teens, and families who feel stuck in cycles of worry, frustration, or overwhelm.
Prior to my doctoral training, I was a special education teacher in Brooklyn, and that perspective still shapes the way I approach therapy today while still working as a school psychologist.
My Approach
I bring a practical, hands-on approach to therapy that helps people understand their thoughts, manage their emotions, and feel more capable in everyday life.
I offer easy to implement strategies that actually work in the real world, whether at home, at school, or in daily routines.
I also approach my work with the heart of a mom. I have two young boys and know firsthand the challenges parents face when helping children manage big emotions, focus difficulties, or anxious thinking. Those experiences inform the way I listen, guide, and collaborate with families in therapy.
Everything I do stands upon evidence-based practices fully filled with compassion, empathy, and a focus on the client’s unique needs.
